Former India skipper Dhoni unveiled the first look of him as Atharva
Teaser for Dhoni’s novel, “Atharva: The Origin,” is now out
Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni presented the first image of himself as Atharva from his upcoming graphic novel ‘Atharva: The Origin’ on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the former India captain posted a video of the graphic novel on Facebook. In his animated form, the former wicketkeeper-batsman has played the lead character in the sci-fi graphic novel ‘Atharva,’ where he can be seen fighting devils. The graphic novel has been written by Ramesh Thamilmani
On his Facebook page, Dhoni published the first look trailer for his upcoming mythological sci-fi novel.
“Happy to announce my new Avatar…...Atharva….,” He wrote on Facebook.

Several fans expressed their desire to see more. A fan commented, “Sir, you look exactly like Baahubali.” MS Dhoni’s fans took to Twitter to express their opinions on the former cricketer’s new style. A part of the internet was very delighted to see the former skipper in this animated avatar, as they hadn’t expected it. They praised Dhoni’s new look on Twitter.
Novel will be available for pre-order starting soon, with an official launch date to be revealed soon. Dhoni Entertainment, the cricketer’s organisation, launched a sci-fi web series about a “mystery Aghori, who has been captured at a high-tech institution” in 2020.
Dhoni is preparing for the next Indian Premier League season (IPL). He was one of four players retained by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the mega auction on February 12 and 13, which will be held in Bengaluru CSK retained Ravindra Jadeja, Dhoni, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad in addition to Dhoni.
Dhoni was retained for Rs 12 crore, while Jadeja was retained for Rs 16 crore. Moeen and Ruturaj, however, have been retained for Rs 8 crore and Rs 6 crore, respectively.
